CAPPP Director Professor Joel D. Aberbach Discusses the Presidency and the Constitution

On April 26th, 2017, CAPPP Director Professor Joel D. Aberbach and UCLA professors Lynn Vavreck and Adam Winkler discussed the presidency and the constitution with moderator Ronald Brownstein and UCSB’s John T. Wooley at a Zócalo Public Square event entitled “Does the Expansion of Presidential Power Threaten the Constitution?”

The panel discussed the expansion of presidential power over the decades and how and why presidents Obama and Trump have used executive orders to carry out their agendas.
