As a part of its commitment to promoting significant research, for many years, CAPPP supported a Faculty Research Fellows program.
Fellowships were awarded for one academic year in order to assist ladder faculty in initiating, conducting, or completing research on political and policy processes and institutions of the United States.
Fellowships were generally awarded in support of research that has substantial empirical content.
Each year since his untimely death, to honor UCLA economic history scholar Kenneth Sokoloff (1952-2007), CAPPP named one of its faculty researchers a Kenneth L. Sokoloff Fellow. We have supported research by UCLA ladder faculty in a broad array of disciplines.
The program is currently on hold. Browse some of the research produced by our past Fellows and Director.
